Come with me to get breakfast in Taipei 🥢 Straight from the airport to this little spot to taste soup dumplings and so much more! That's what I call a soft landing 😉
Just back from Catalonia and I thought: I'll share some tips right away. During our road trip, we stayed two nights in the Ebro Delta. An incredibly fun stop for families and foodies alike, where there is plenty to do. · A boat trip to the Musclarium is a must! Here you eat oysters and mussels straight from the farm, in the middle of the sea. · Admire the flamingos and black ibises that can be found here all year round. · Rice is grown in the Ebro Delta all year round. For paella, but Kensho also makes sake and miso from it! You can visit them during a tasting. · Cycling along the rice fields, canoeing on the Ebro River, and visiting various beaches. It was still a bit too cold now, but there is plenty to do. · The towns are very low-key and not that exciting, but you can find fantastic local food there. From the Michelin-awarded Les Moles* to local eateries like Vermuteria Bonmarisc and Lo Tinglado. We ate a lot of fish, but also anemone fritters (a first!). Now back to work, and I’m going to create an extensive travel guide of this road trip through Catalonia, but you’ll want to save these tips for a future adventure. ✖️✖️✖️ 🖊️ @anne_de_buck { In this post, I share tips for the Ebro Delta in Spain (Delta de l'Ebre). PUUR JONNIE, an ode to Jonnie Boer. Today I had the honor of being at @delibrijezwolle for the book launch of @jonnie_en_therese. I spent the entire evening reading and browsing. WHAT A BOOK. What stories. WHAT AN ODE. Love, Nature, Pioneer, Fatherhood, Music, Jonnie's Foundation, Friendship, Suppliers, Local products, Relaxation, Entrepreneurship, Humor & The pure human being. Everything is covered, beautifully written by @joel.broekaert. With contributions from, among others, @nelsontanate, @rekkebus, @ronblaauwtje, @jorisbijdendijk, @sidney_schutte & @hvw043. 7 X King's Day Amsterdam 2026 stages in Amsterdam in a row

During King's Day in Amsterdam 2026, public events will take place at various locations throughout the city. However, there's a maximum of 2000 visitors. Arriving a bit late? There's a chance you'll have to wait a bit until people leave so you can enter. The squares and streets listed below have stages where you can party outdoors from 12:00 PM to 20:00 PM. Where will you be celebrating King's Day in Amsterdam this year?

Amstelveld

Every year, the Amstelveld is one of those places you just naturally end up at during King's Day. The atmosphere is always great here, with a mix of locals and Amsterdammers moving from square to square. This year, there is a fun new addition: at the recently opened venue Meyer, you will find a stage where you can party all day long. The familiar conviviality of the square remains, but with a nice update (you could even call it an upgrade!). Tip: grab a beer in between at the neighbors of Café Marcella and your day really can't go wrong anymore.

Leidseplein

On Leidseplein it is as you would expect: busy, a few more tourists, and a party all day long. There is a stage surrounding Café American.

New Market

During King's Day, the Nieuwmarkt always feels like a big neighborhood party, but with much more atmosphere. You'll find a stage with music on the square, and the area around the terraces is pleasantly busy all day long.

Reguliersdwarsstraat (between Koningsplein and Vijzelstraat)

Here you will find multiple stages and DJs ensuring a non-stop street party. Expect dancing people, lots of locals, color, and a vibe that continues into the evening.

Rembrandtplein

With a central stage and music all day long, Rembrandtplein fills up quickly but is always lively. Expect a few more tourists here, but that is somewhat part of the experience by now. The square fills up fast, so arrive on time if you want to secure a spot.

Jordaan (Westerstraat & Tweede Boomdwarsstraat)

In the Jordaan, you celebrate King's Day the way it was originally intended: on the street, with music and a healthy dose of conviviality. In the Westerstraat and Tweede Boomdwarsstraat, you'll find stages and live music, often featuring Amsterdam classics and singalongs. At Café De Blaffende Vis, a huge sign of the King traditionally hangs on the facade, and it is always pleasantly busy. This is one of those places where you go from café to café, linger on the street in between, and are naturally drawn into the festivities.

Marie Heinekenplein & Gerard Douplein

In De Pijp, the festivities are in full swing on several squares. On the Marie Heinekenplein and Gerard Douplein, you’ll find DJs and live music, surrounded by packed terraces. The atmosphere here is a bit younger and energetic, making it a great place to hang out with your friends.
