Kolm Sibulat Tallinn: the newest hotspot in Kalamaja

30 August 2013

Local hipster favourite Kolm Sibulat Tallinn

Sunday to me and my love means brunch time! Kolm Sibulat Tallinn is only open for a few weeks and all the locals are raving about it. So we had to try and test it for you! It’s a short walk from the city center to the hipster district Kalamaja. Kolm Sibulat means 3 onions and they played with that in the interior design. Copper design onions used as lamps are the eye catchers of this restaurant. Brick walls and a concrete floor give it a trendy look. One dining room has wooden walls what makes it look very cosy! Almost like a chalet on a snow ski holiday :-).

The menu at Kolm Sibulat Tallinn

On the menu at Kolm Sibulat Tallinn you find typical Estonian dishes with a modern or international twist. We noticed that cider is a very popular drink in Tallinn and since it’s already after 13 o’clock we decide to go for it too. After all… we’re on holiday ;-)! For brunch we (aka the foodtwins) order scallops with chili and ginger aioli. Sounds just as good as it tastes! With a jacket on it was nice enough to eat outside. Love it!
