Do you love Fruits de Mer? Then go to Kol restaurant in Reykjavik! We discovered this hotspot on The last day of our city trip, Kol is high on our list of favorites. It's located on Skólavördustígur and near several other great spots. Around the corner, you'll find Reykjavik Roasters and C is for Cookie, for example. Have a coffee there in the afternoon, then do some shopping, and end the day at Kol!
Upon entering, the enormous (and beautiful) bar immediately catches your eye. So start with a cocktail! The menu at Kol in Reykjavik features both craft cocktails and a few regular ones, each with its own unique twist. And, fun fact, they make all the juices used in the cocktails themselves!

Fancy a bite to eat? If there's one dish you absolutely must try at Kol in Reykjavik, it's the Fruits de Mer! Anne and I shared this as an appetizer and couldn't get over how delicious it was. Delicious mussels, clams, sashimi, salmon, shrimp, and lobster. Absolutely delicious. Everything was so fresh! Served with two delicious sauces.

But restaurant Kol doesn't just serve a wide variety of delicious fish and meat dishes. This hotspot also looks really cool. It has a truly rugged, robust Scandinavian look. Natural materials like leather and wood are used. Yet, Kol has a very warm, inviting atmosphere. By the way, don't forget to check out the mural to the left of the bar when you enter!
