Liefst natuurlijk met een stuk gebak of een sandwich erbij. Omdat het soms nog wel eens lastig kiezen kan zijn (er zijn zoveel leuke spots in Amsterdam), hebben wij het je iets makkelijker gemaakt. In dit lijstje vind je een overzicht met de beste koffiebars in Amsterdam Centrum. Uiteraard allemaal (ooit) persoonlijk voor jullie getest!

Zo van de airport door naar dit zaakje om soup dumplings en zó veel meer te proeven! Dat is wat ik noem een soft landing 😉 <3
In Taipei ga je naar een Soy Milk Shop voor ontbijt. Warme soy milk die je eet in een bowl en stoommandjes met de lekkerste dumplings en baozi’s. Je kunt mij echt wakker maken voor dit soort ontbijtjes. Deze lokale ontbijttentjes komen in alle soorten en maten, van Michelin-recommended adressen tot hole-in-the-wall-kraampjes.
De meeste soy milk shops zijn al vroeg (en soms zelfs 24 uur per dag) open en dit zijn de gerechten die je wilt proeven:
🥄 Warm soy milk
🥢 Soup dumplings (je kunt vaak kiezen tussen pork en veggies)
🥢 Pork baozi
🥢 Youtiao (油條 - een soort fried donut stick)
🥢 Youtiao (油條) w/ pork floss & rice

TIP: delen is een goed idee om zoveel mogelijk te proeven, want de porties zijn (vaak) groot.

Nét terug uit Catalonië en ik dacht: ik ga direct wat tips delen.
Tijdens onze roadtrip bleven we twee nachtjes in de Ebrodelta. Een ontzettend leuke stop voor families én foodies, waar van alles te doen is.
· Een boottochtje naar het Musclarium is een must! Hier eet je oesters en mosselen zo van de farm, midden op zee.
· Bewonder de flamingo’s en zwarte ibissen die hier het hele jaar door te vinden zijn.
· In de Ebrodelta wordt het hele jaar door rijst verbouwd. Voor paella, maar Kensho maakt er ook sake en miso van! Je kunt hen bezoeken tijdens een tasting.
· Fietsen langs de rijstvelden, kanoën op de Ebro-rivier en naar verschillende stranden. Het was nu nog net te koud, maar er is van alles te doen.
· De stadjes zijn heel low key en niet zo spannend, maar je kunt er wel fantastisch lekker lokaal eten. Van het door Michelin bekroonde Les Moles* tot lokale eethuisjes als Vermuteria Bonmarisc en Lo Tinglado. We aten heel veel vis, maar ook fritters van anemoon (een first!).
Nu back to work en ga ik een uitgebreide travel guide maken van deze roadtrip door Catalonië, maar deze tips wil je alvast bewaren voor een volgend avontuur.

16 x de beste koffiebars in amsterdam centrum
Chun Café: naast de heerlijke brioche toasts hebben ze hier ook hele goede koffie.
Bocca Coffee: Eén van mijn favoriete koffiebranders van de stad. Ik zou zeggen: haal de bonen voor thuis of een koffie to go als je in het centrum bent.
De Koffieschenkerij: Authentiek koffietentje op de Wallen.
Toki: Nieuw Scandinavian meets Japanese koffie cafe.
Zuivere Koffie: Hidden gem op de Utrechtsestraat.
Vascobelo V-Bar: Koffie en boeken.
Koffiespot: Koffiebar op de Elandsgracht.
Six and Sons: Koffie en vintage shoppen.
De Laatste Kruimel: Sowieso is dit een must visit adres voor iedereen die houdt van lekkere taartjes en andere baksels. Maar de koffie mag er ook wezen!
Gartine: High tea en koffie (wel even reserveren!).
Cut Throat Barber & Coffee: Koffie voor mannen op de Warmoestraat.
Back to Black: Koffie café waar alles te koop is.
Quartier Putain: Koffie drinken op de Wallen.
Il momento: Italiaanse koffie op de gracht.
Marie Stella Maris: Koffie drinken in de verborgen kelder.
Betty Blue: Goede koffie met de lekkerste zoetigheden bij de Nieuwmarkt.
Baretto: Een Italiaanse koffiebar en lunchroom op de Czaar Peterstraat gerund door Lorenzo en Toni die beide uit Italië komen. Baretto is een typisch buurtcafé zoals ze die in Italië kennen.
