Food trend: 7 colorful lattes from around the world that you want to try

colorful lattes from around the world that will brighten up your day

These days, food trends can't get any crazier. Just scroll through your Instagram and you'll see a rainbow bagel, poké avocado toast, or cappuccino in a cone. You probably haven't missed rainbow lattes either. Our favorite coffee comes in countless colors, shapes, and sizes. Luckily, the trend has also made its way to the Netherlands! This pink coffee just tastes a little bit better than the regular kind, but that's just because it looks so good. Since you're seeing the most amazing creations all over the world, we thought it would be fun to see where you can enjoy these beautiful lattes. It was hard to choose, but we've compiled a list of 7 of the best spots for colorful lattes worldwide!

Ice cream date, anyone? One of the newest openings at Amstel1 is De Boule De Boule, an ice cream and pastry parlor just behind Waterlooplein. After trying it, I can confirm: the ice cream is really, really good. 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗩𝗜𝗕𝗘 After seeing their Instagram, you might think of places like Folderol in Paris, the spot that became famous for pairing ice cream with wine. But De Boule De Boule feels different. Less destination wine bar, more day-time neighborhood café where you can stop by for homemade ice cream, a pastry, coffee and, yes, a glass of wine. Inside you'll find shelves filled with vinyl records, a display of freshly made ice cream and homemade pastries crafted by two in-house pastry chefs. 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗥𝗢𝗪𝗗 Amstel1 is still being discovered by Amsterdam and it was a little quiet during our visit. I expect the vibe to only get better as more shops open and people find their way here. I'm especially curious to see how it feels this weekend with the market taking over the area for the first full weekend. This covered location with a courtyard feel is incredibly promising. 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗪𝗘 𝗢𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗗 • Olive oil & basil ice cream with sea salt • Chocolate ice cream with hazelnut topping • Paired with a glass of Chardonnay and an orange wine. All of the ice cream is made in-house and completely vegan. If nobody had told me, I honestly wouldn't have guessed. 𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗟𝗘 𝗕𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗞 𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗦 𝗜𝗧 The ice cream is excellent, but what makes De Boule De Boule interesting is that it's more than an ice cream shop. It's a place for coffee, pastries, a glass of wine or drinks after a performance at the Stopera. And yes, I'm already planning to go back to try more flavors, but next time in the evening for a dessert after dinner elsewhere. Just to see how the space changes throughout the day. What would I order then? Very curious about the White Coffee ice cream! 𝗔𝗗𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦 📍 De Boule De Boule @debouledeboule Amstel1, Waterlooplein Would you go for olive oil & basil or keep it classic? ✖️✖️✖️ 🖊️ @anne_de_buck
Today marks 43 ☺️🎈 But when I look in the mirror, I still see that 28-year-old girl who, 15 years ago, had no idea she would turn her hobby into her job. Thanks for being there (perhaps for so long) to follow this adventure 🫶🏼❤️. ✖️✖️✖️ @anne_de_buck
Come with me to get breakfast in Taipei 🥢 Straight from the airport to this little spot to taste soup dumplings and so much more! That's what I call a soft landing 😉

7 x food trend: colorful lattes worldwide

Pick Amsterdam: YES! It's no secret that we've been Pluk fans for years. They've always been trendy with their fresh takeaway (detox) juice, and now they're offering the unicorn bowl. But we're even happier now that we can also enjoy a colored latte.

BenjisOH, we're having a blast in Amsterdam! We've always gone to this jungle all-day breakfast spot in the bustling East district for the best coffee. Now we can add them to the list of colorful ones! You have to try a red velvet latte with white chocolate, right?!

AIDA:  At AIDA in London, it's even hard to choose which of the wonder lattes to try! At the coffee corner in their clothing store, you can choose from sunshine, fresh chai, matcha, or even rosé. These wonder lattes all have one thing in common: they're all equally colorful.

The Meets: YES, another colorful latte spot in Amsterdam! Meets uses honest and healthy local ingredients. And now they also have coffee just as colorful as the rest of the dishes on their extensive menu. A blue latte will totally bring back our Bali vibes!

Too Many Chiefs:  Besides delicious food, Too Many Chiefs is also known throughout Australia for its rainbow lattes. It doesn't stop at brightly colored rainbow foam on your cappuccino. They have lattes you've never heard of before. A black one made with charcoal, purple with lavender, blue with seaweed, red with beetroot, or gold with turmeric. Excuse us, just give me a one-way ticket to Melbourne, please!

Sweet daze:  This is a must for anyone who loves sweets and picture-perfect food. This dessert bar is actually known for their killer donuts and cakes, which are skewered directly onto straws of brightly colored lemonade. But they also sell iced matcha latte. The vibrant green latte is delicious! Add a bright green donut and you're good to go.

Piggy Back Australia

Piggy back cafe: Touring Australia? Then be sure to stop by Piggy Back Cafe. Every latte art piece takes just as much time and love. Every cup of coffee is unique and equally impressive. We also think it's a work of art that the coffee is still hot after all the time spent brewing it. Tip: The food here is also highly recommended!
