Have you already stayed the night at the King Kong Hostel in Rotterdam? A super cool hostel at the Witte de With street and surrounded by lots of great resto’s and bars. Although I’m normally not a fan of hostels – sharing is room is just not my thing – I really liked King Kong Hostel! This urban and luxurious version of a normal hostel is spacious, cool decorated, super clean and trendy. And if you, like me, prefer a room for yourself? Don’t hesitate to book one!

Sleeping beauty at King Kong Hostel Rotterdam

The King Kong Hostel is open for one and a half year and already wildly popular. Here you can sleep in a private room with private bathroom, a small dorm or the large loft where as many as 50 beds are located. Perfect if you don’t have a high budget or want to meet new people. Each room looks different, but everywhere you’ll see natural materials like wood, bright colors and cracking white sheets.

In addition, there’s simply a chill atmosphere at the hostel. Here you check your mail (free wifi!) in the lobby, you drink a cup of coffee while catching up with your neighbour or sit down on the couch to relax after a shopping day. There’s a bit of an ‘anythings possible’ vibe but not as preppy as I expected. Oh and do you just want to relax in your room? Then you can watch your favo series true Netflix!

Looking for a nice place to stay in Rotterdam? Then you really should go to King Kong Hostel! I slept great here so I’m a fan! Now I anyway become a huge fan of Rotterdam. This city changed a lot recent years! And nowadays you will find lots of nice hotspots to eat, drink coffee or … sleep! ;-)
