Kim's So Korean Food, Amsterdam-Centrum: brings authentic Korea to our capital

There's little that beats classic Korean cuisine, and—to our delight!—it's being brought to Amsterdam by Kim's So Korean Food. Located in Molensteeg, a stone's throw from the famous Bird Thai Restaurant and the red light district, is this great Korean hotspot.

Chef Kim cooks a stellar meal every evening. He approaches food as nourishment for body and soul, and understands its unifying power like no other. In a Korean atmosphere, you'll discover authentic dishes that you can share with the rest of the table or keep for yourself. They serve lunch from noon to 5 p.m., and dinner and drinks are available from 5 p.m. In a short time, this new spot has built a considerable reputation (they've become a real TikTok hit); so you would be wise to make a reservation.

The interior is simple and features light wood. It's minimal, because the focus should be on the food, Kim believes. And it certainly is, because at Kim's you'll find authentic Korean food like nowhere else in Amsterdam. For Korean dumplings, kimchi pancakes, theokbokki, signature fried chicken, and of course, a wide variety of barbecue dishes, you've come to the right place. You'll also find classic bibimbap and Korean ramen noodles. And if you're really going for it, you'll naturally order a rice punch to go with it.
