There is little that can surpass the classic Korean cuisine, and fortunately, it is being brought to Amsterdam by Kim’s So Korean Food. This Korean hotspot is located in the Molensteeg, just a stone’s throw away from the famous Bird Thais Restaurant and the red-light district.

Chef Kim cooks up a storm every evening, approaching food as nourishment for the body and the soul, understanding its power to bring people together like no other. In the Korean ambiance, you’ll discover authentic dishes to be shared with the rest of the table or enjoyed on your own. They serve lunch from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM; from 5:00 PM onwards, you can indulge in their dinner menu and drinks. In a short time, this new place has built a strong reputation (they’ve even become a TikTok sensation), so it’s highly advisable to make a reservation.

@kims_so 🥢Hidden between the hustle and bustle of China Town and the Red Light District, lies a gem that’s always bustling – Kim’s So, the new Korean hotspot in town! 🍜And the food – oh, the food! Savor mouthwatering Korean classics like gimbab, bibimbap, and the crunchiest Korean fried chicken you’ve ever tasted.🥢 But, here’s the catch – it’s so popular, you have to reserve a spot or risk finding it full! Now, imagine enjoying all this deliciousness with your friends and family. The interior is simple and adorned with light wood. There’s little fuss, as Kim believes the focus should be on the food. And the food truly stands out, as at Kim’s, you can enjoy authentic Korean cuisine like nowhere else in Amsterdam. This place is the right destination for Korean dumplings, kimchi pancakes, tteokbokki, signature fried chicken, and an extensive range of barbecue dishes. You’ll also find classic bibimbap and Korean ramen noodles. And if you’re seeking ways to enhance your dining experience, don’t forget to pair it with a rice punch.
