karakter amsterdam is the new living room wíth character in west!
Schreven we eerder al over de binnenkort te openen H. Burger en de Tonton Club aan de De Clercqstraat in Amsterdam-West, nu kunnen we er nóg een aan dat rijtje toevoegen. Want ook Karakter Amsterdam is neergestreken aan de Clercq. En wel op nummer 75, daar waar eerst het Marrokkaanse restaurant Tingis zat.
Want naast de Zuid-Amerikaanse invloeden van Huis van Lopéz, de Amerikaanse touch van Hendrix en de Rotisserie en het vleugje Belgisch-Limburgs van Fier vonden de mannen achter Karakter dat een stoer huiskamer nog ontbrak in dit mooie deel van West. En dus streven ze met Karakter naar een laid back sfeer, maar dan wel met karakter. Op z’n Amsterdams dus ;-)
Daarom ligt bij Karakter de nadruk op de drankjes. Het aanbod bestaat uit cocktails, speciaalbieren, gin-tonics en mooie wijnen. Drankjes met karakter dus ;-) Het karakter danken de drankjes aan de A-merken waarmee ze geschonken worden én aan de finger food die je er gratis bij krijgt. Is dat even een leuke twist! Je gaat dus hierheen voor een goede borrel, waarbij je je geen zorgen hoeft te maken over je lege maag. Voor de grote trek kun je hier namelijk ook van de kaart bestellen. Zolang je maar lekker onderuit zakt, want dat mag bij Karakter.
Het pand is flink onder handen genomen en het interieur spreekt voor zich. Want ja, natuurlijk kan het niet anders dan dat dit óók karakter heeft. Wat dacht je van een boom in de bar en een stoere chesterfield bank..? Karakter, vanaf nu geopend!
