Julius Bar & Grill Amsterdam: BBQ hotspot at the Ceintuurbaan

10 December 2013

Barbeque is for all seasons at Julius Bar & Grill Amsterdam at the Ceintuurbaan!

Another foodie hotspot at the Ceintuurbaan! Julius Bar & Grill Amsterdam is a barbecue restaurant where once Witteveen used to be. If you like the smelll of grilled meat and fish from the barbecue you will love Julius Bar & Grill Amsterdam. Stop by for drinks and bar bites to catch up with friends. Or go for dinner and enjoy the delicious dishes all from the barbecue. There are many starters to choose from. I can highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich and the smoked salmon with a fennel salad. What I like about Julius Bar & Grill Amsterdam is that they have a large choice of seafood. Maybe not what you would expect in a typical barbecue restaurant. The spicy calamaris are very good! I ordered the spare ribs which are so tender. Yummy! The entrocote is also good and has that great barbecue flavour. Julius Bar & Grill Amsterdam has its own sauces. From curry, to BBQ and ketchup. These bottles look so cool with the tattoo style logo of the restaurant. The main dishes are served with a potato and cole slaw. The portions are quite large sized so we decided to share the tarte tartin for dessert. Julius Bar & Grill Amsterdam gives me a very international feeling. Love that! The huge Chesterfield couch and the white tiles on the walls with the BBQ kitchen and bar in the middle of the restaurant. Can’t wait to go back!
