Joya Amsterdam: for Asian fine dining in the city centre

9 July 2017

blue boy on the spui transformed into Joya Amsterdam

Blue Boy, a restaurant you’ve probably had dinner one time in the city centre of Amsterdam changed! They not only got a new name, they also launched a new food concept. Blue Boy made place for Joya Amsterdam. Your new go to if you love the Asian cuisine. Owners Casper Reinders and Serge Rijn joined forces with Jeabby Chaiyasat. A entrepreneur that grew up in restaurant Top Thai. Better said, she knows the Asian cuisine as no other. That promises a lot!

Joya Amsterdam focuses on fine and shared dining, what makes it the perfect spot for a night out with friends. What to order? Think of Thai steak tartare, spicy Thai ceviche, honey glazed duck and prawns with pork belly, green curry and Thai basil. This sounds great, but what’s really special about Joya Amsterdam is the presentation of the dishes. Because to be honest, Asian food is delicious, but it’s not always presented in a beautiful and attractive way. The Asian dishes, mostly from Japan and Thailand at Joya Amsterdam, are made up in a French way, so it actually looks like a painting ;-)

And no worries, Blue Boy didn’t really disappeared. The interior and the atmosphere are still the same.

The address of  Blue Boy Amsterdam is Spuistraat 3G!
