Jack Amsterdam: new house and techno night club in Amsterdam Zuidoost

8 August 2017

Jack Amsterdam soon thé club with rooftop in Amsterdam

At the end of this year a new club will be opened in Amsterdam South East. A club where you do want to cycle to. During the Canal Pride last Saturday the plans for this new house and techno night club were revealed and we have to be honest, this may be our new go to place in the middle of the night. The Hogehilweg 20 is now a gray office building, but will soon change. After summer, this boring building will be transformed into Jack Amsterdam, thé new night club of Amsterdam. The club will be on the third and fourth floor and on the roof there will be a terrace where you can go for some fresh air.

The music is focussed on house and techno. On Friday nights the music will be ‘not that hard’ while on Saturday it will be turned into a wild party. The DJ’s that will play need to match the atmosphere of Jack Amsterdam, whether they come from the Netherlands or from the States. Jack Amsterdam is also an LHBTI-friendly place. No gay club, but a club where everyone can and wants to be who they are. Perfect!

Tip: The former Bijlmerbajes will be the place to be towards the opening of Jack Amsterdam later this year. They will give some ‘tasting’ parties of how the night club is going to be.

We’ll keep you up to date about the opening date!
