I’m a huge fan of Asian food. Izakaya, the trendy restaurant of the Sir Albert hotel, is a very good Japanese restaurant in Amsterdam. It\’s new, trendy and hot and happening. Go there for dinner on Friday and Saturday and stay for cocktails while the DJ spins some records. I loved the Bloody Geisha! A cocktail like the Bloody Mary but with soy sauce and honey for a different and Asian taste. A must try if you like this kind of cocktail. The menu at Izakaya Japanese restaurant in Amsterdam is extensive and all dishes are served to the table to share. Start with two or three starters (for two), a bite of tempura and order two main courses. The food at Izakaya is so good, that this new Japanese restaurant in Amsterdam is already my favourite and belongs in everyone\’s Little Black Amsterdam Book if you want a special night out in Amsterdam!
