Impero Romano Amsterdam: Italian food & cocktails on the Amstel

Goodbye Americano, hello Impero Romano!

It has been quiet for a while Americano on the Amsteldijk, but now there's some movement in the place. We'll unfortunately have to say goodbye to Americano, but in its place we can welcome Impero Romano Amsterdam in De Pijp.

More restaurants in Amsterdam

A whole new team, a new name, but without a completely new concept. Because even under this new name, just like at Americano, top-quality Italian food will be served. And just like at Americano, you'll be able to order delicious cocktails at Impero Romano. There's still something about that beautiful corner building that just begs for fine dining and cocktails… ;-)

What else will be the same—or completely different—is still unknown. Impero Romano (Roman Empire) won't open its doors until November 1st. Will they retain Americano's modern, chic, and classic interior, or will they completely transform it? And that beautiful bar! Will it still be there? That bar made you feel like you were dining in a chic, vintage New York spot... We can't wait!
