Impero Romano Amsterdam: Italian food & cocktails along the Amstel

26 October 2016

bye americano, hello impero romano

It’s been quiet for a while now, at Americano on the Amsteldijk. But now things are finally about to move. The bad news is that we have to say our goodbyes to Americano for good. The good news is that we may welcome Impero Romano Amsterdam in the beautiful De Pijp!

More restaurants in Amsterdam

The place will get a new name, a completely new team, yet not a brand new concept. Because Impero Romano will serve – just like Americano – Italian food of top quality. And you will be able to order cocktails as well. It’s just something about that beautiful corner building that asks for fine dining and cocktails…;-)

Whatever else will stay the same – or just completely different – is not yet known. Impero Romano will open its doors on November 1st. Until then it’s just guessing: will they maintain the modern, chic and classic interior of Americano or will they replace all of it? And what about the bar? That beautiful bar! Will it still be there? That bar made you feel like you were eating in a chic vintage spot somewhere in New York. We cannot wait to find out!
