On the Overtoom, you'll recently find gelateria Miuz – a very welcome addition to our capital! The owner is a true Italian who grew up in Turin. He's now lived in the Netherlands for ten years and missed the creamy ice cream flavors of his childhood and homeland here in Amsterdam. So, he took matters into his own hands, and Miuz was born. Ice cream lovers should definitely visit Miuz, because the owner makes the ice cream from scratch, using ingredients including fair-trade cocoa beans and dairy from local farms, and without any added flavors. Besides classic flavors, the team is also experimenting with flavors like burrata latte, cappuccino, and tiramisu.

For chocolate and ice cream, Van Soest is the place to be. But let's be honest, on those hot days, we'd much rather eat ice cream than chocolate, right? Homemade ice cream in many flavors. Lemon cheesecake, yes please!

Strolling down Haarlemmerstraat, you can't miss Jordino's window display. Brightly colored chocolate and marzipan artworks always shine here. Besides being an ice cream parlor, Jordino is also a patisserie and chocolatier. It's a hard place to resist, if only for the aroma of chocolate that constantly lingers around the shop.
