Ice Amsterdam: ice skating on Museum Square from November 18 till February 4

13 December 2018

YEs! THE ICE RINK ON MUSEUM SQUARE IS BACK FOR A NEW SEASON

It’s hard to admit, but winter is almost here and the city is already filled with lights! The temperatures have dropped, rain showers and cold weather are fact and it gets dark at 4 pm. But as Johan Cruijff used to say: every disadvantage has its advantage. And that also goes for the dark winter months. In the form of lots of cozy lights on Museum Square, because Ice Amsterdam is back and there to stay until February 4.

Ice Amsterdam is probably better known as the ice rink on Museum square. Since 2013 people from all ages come here to ice skate the day away in a cozy, winter’ish setting. In fact, last year the icerink was visited by a whopping 150,000 people.

Aka the winter market for all your original Christmas gifts, accessories and fashionable winter-gear. And don’t be afraid of the upcoming winter colds, because the enclosed restaurant will heat you up with some delicious hot chocolate or glühwine.
