Stay at the Ibsens Hotel in Copenhagen

During my last trip to Copenhagen, I stayed overnight at Ibsen's Hotel Copenhagen. It's a perfect base for exploring the charming Norrebro neighborhoods and Copenhagen's city center. The street where Ibsen's Hotel Copenhagen is located is also super charming. There are many small boutiques and cozy restaurants in the area around Nansengade, such as the beautiful Höst.

Ibsens Hotel Copenhagen is an art hotel and the first hotel in the world where you can pay with art money. They have framed all of this, and you can admire it in the breakfast room. The rooms at Ibsens Hotel Copenhagen are furnished with Danish design and accessories from local artists and designers who have shops on Nansengade. This hotel in Copenhagen serves a delicious breakfast with freshly made sandwiches and organic yogurt with fresh fruit. After breakfast, you can enjoy a nice coffee at Kalaset across from the hotel and make plans for what you will do that day.

The Ibsens Hotel Copenhagen is within walking distance of the city center, and on the way there you pass Torvehallerne , a really fun food market. You can also rent bicycles at the hotel. Highly recommended for seeing a lot of Copenhagen!
