8 hotspots in Copenhagen's meatpacking district

Mother: Mother is a super fun and affordable restaurant where you can enjoy delicious pizza from the wood-fired oven. Weather permitting, you can sit outside at one of the picnic tables. You can read my detailed blog post about Mother here.
Høkerboderne 9-15, Copenhagen – motherrestaurant.dk

Fiskebar: Fiskebar is a famous restaurant in Copenhagen. It was the first restaurant in the Meatpacking district and therefore a trendsetter. In good weather, it's nice to enjoy a drink in one of the beach chairs. The menu at Fiskebar mainly features fish.
Flæsketorvet 100, Copenhagen – fiskebaren.dk

Pate Pate: My favorite restaurant in the Meatpacking District! The menu is brasserie-style and super good. The crowd at Pate Pate is hip. You can read my extensive blog about Pate Pate here >>
Slagterboderne 1, Copenhagen – patepate.dk

BOB Bistro / Bio Mio: Bio Mio is a good place for a simple, affordable meal. It's a buffet restaurant with only organic dishes on the menu.

Jolene: Jolene is the club in Copenhagen where hipsters go. It has a great underground vibe and is a great place to go for drinks and clubbing after dinner. You can read my full blog post about Jolene here.
Flæsketorvet 81-85, Copenhagen – Facebook page

Warpigs: A hotspot in Copenhagen's Meatpacking District for beer lovers. It's all about craft beers and Texas BBQ: not a bad combination, I think ;-). And they serve it with Texas sauce, a spicy sauce that goes with the potatoes. Delicious!
Flæsketorvet 25, Copenhagen – warpigs.dk

Gorilla: Tucked away in a corner of the Meatpacking District, you'll find this cozy bistro with a bar and restaurant area. The cocktails are fantastic, and the menu is packed with classic bistro dishes with a Danish twist. Think delicious steak tartare, ceviche, and oysters made with local ingredients!
Gorilla, Flæsketorvet 57, restaurantgorilla.dk

Noho: During the day, this is a lovely café where you can enjoy lunch or coffee, but in the evening, it transforms into a trendy cocktail bar. The bartenders here are experienced cocktail shakers, so the cocktails are top-notch. A great place to have a drink before going out!
Flæsketorvet 28, Copenhagen – noho.bar

Think twinkling lights, mulled wine, food stalls, live music, unique gifts and lots of Christmas vibes all December long. HOME ALONE 4 INCOMING 😅 My trip to NYC ends in a bad (Christmas) movie when the hotel gives my carry-on with my passport to an old lady who doesn't realize it and checks it in for a flight to the UK! Now I'm stuck here in NY without my passport, and I've missed my flight. I've experienced a lot in all the years I've been traveling for Your Little Black Book, but this is a first 😅. This chat video is purely therapeutic in nature 🤣🤣🤣. Because really: HOW?! 🫢 Note to self: better to take my passport with me all day, instead of leaving it 'safely' in the hotel apparently... and from now on, suitcases should be tied together with a cable in the storage room. Even if you're in a luxurious and expensive hotel, everything is still human work. Now I'm stuck in one of the nicest cities in the world, but of course I just want to be home with Manuel as planned. 😔 To be continued 🧳✈️ And thanks for all the sweet DMs ❤️❤️❤️❤️ ✖️✖️✖️ Anne
And do you also have a nice garden? I want to thank you for your patience and help. 𝟳-𝗷𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲! This time we went to @williams.farmhouse one of my favorites for lunch in Amsterdam Oud-Zuid. But is this also fun during the day with kids? We ordered a 'plain' version of the Farmhouse burger 🍔: yes, really just meat + cheese 🤣… and together with the fries it was a mega success. Child happy, us happy… and it was such a cozy, rainy afternoon. I mean this interior, I immediately dream away to the Cotswolds again!
