These are the Nicests hotspots at the Jan Evertsenstraat Amsterdam

One of the nicest streets in De Baarsjes is the Jan Evertsenstraat in Amsterdam West. There are many hotspots to visit in the Jan Evertsenstraat, from nice vintage shops to tea bars and even a real mini-republic. You can also go to a massage house if you feel like relaxing after a long day. How fun! If you are not yet familiar with the Jan Eef, you should definitely read this blog with 11 x hotspots on the Jan Evertsenstraat in Amsterdam West!

7 X Food & drinks at the Jan Evertsenstraat Amsterdam

Bar Evert Jan: a great place to enjoy a beer and “bitterbal”, but you can have here dinner too. Fun: Thursday night there will be karaoke and every Friday and Saturday night there is live music!
Koala Republic: this brand new food concept is formed as a republic, including a president and ground rules for everybody. Koala Republic wants to fight against the established food concepts, because everyone has the right to eat delicious healthy food. We are intrigued!
T’s: here you go for tea, tea and more tea. The men behind T’s are blending lots of different tastes themselves and you’ll only get loose fresh tea leaves here. How cool!
Bar Baarsch: Bar Baarsch is a cozy and relaxed cafe on the Jan Eef where you go to during the week or in the weekend for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a drink. At Yourlbb we are a big fan of their pub quizes every Monday. Perfect for a night out with friends!

White Label Coffee: at the coffee shop they roast their own beans and especially the coffee from Ethiopia is our favourite!
Radijs: for simple, tasty dishes you have to go to Radijs. A cozy neighbourhood cafe with a terrace. On the menu you’ll find various fish (catch of the day), meat (which include rib eye and chicken breast) and vegetarian (stuffed zucchini) dishes.
Frits: at Frits it’s all about burgers (and not just any burger) and our favourite beers from local breweries.

3 x Shopping at the JAN EVERTSENSTRAAT Amsterdam

De Balkonie: at De Balkonie they say you don’t need green fingers to make a nice balcony. Here you will find everything you need to create a little garden: from pots and flowers to vegetable plants and boxes.
Things I Like Things I Love: at Things I Like Things I Love they sell a combination of vintage items and new products. They also have cute plants in pots and other must-have gifts.
Pieter & Tosch: the ladies behind Pieter & Tosch collect treasures from all over the world. Do you want your house to be Pinterest-proof? This shop is the golden tip!

1 x to do at the Jan Evertsenstraat Amsterdam

Het Massagehuys: can you use some relaxation after eating, drinking and shopping at the Jan Eef? Then go to massage house Het Massagehuys!
