3 x Amsterdam’s most popular hotspots of June // BEST OF 2016

23 December 2016

THESE ARE THE MOST POPULAR SPOTS OF LAST YEAR!

For over ten years I live in Amsterdam-East and believe me when I say that this neighborhood has improved enormously in recent years. Once upon a time, there were no hotspots to be found here, but now, times are changing. Take the Wibaut street, the Indian neighborhood or the Weesperzijde for example. And in June 2016, even two more hotspots opened their doors in East. In this blog I’m sharing the BEST OF 2016 for the month of June. Did you go to there yet?

3 X SPOTS TO HAVE ON YOUR RADAR

  1. LALOTTALalotta opened its doors on the Weesperzijde in June and is crowded ever since. Not that surprising, because the pizza bakers of Lalotta won prizes for the best pizza in the Netherlands. Our recommendation: the Tartufo Bianco, with white truffle and raw ham. YUM!

  2. DONNIES: If you thought Lalotta with its delicious pizzas is your only new guilty pleasure  of 2016, then you are wrong. On the Gerard Douplein in De Pijp the completely new concept of Donnies opened its doors. Here you get döner sandwiches in the most healthy way and oh, the interior is a feast as well ;-)

  3. YOKIYO: The popular Yokiyo returned and opened a new hotspot in East. In addition to Korean bbq you can come here for delicious noodle soups, shared dining and so much more as well. Plus, nice too, on the terrace they have these super cute beach folding chairs. Yay!
