Hotspot & lifestyle update! week 14

30 March 2014

The weekend was so nice! Great to be outside not wearing a warm winter coat :-). Hope you had a great weekend and enjoyed the sun to the max! I was in Antwerp to meet with up my parents and enjoy the sun at some hotspots there. In this hotspot and lifestyle update I will share my latest discoveries with you! You can follow my daily adventures via social media here: Twitter (@yourLBB) or Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest at ‘yourLBB’

Hotspot & Lifestyle update week 14:

Roadtrip to Antwerp: Saturday my love and I went to Antwerp! Always love going there. It’s just a 2 hour ride from Amsterdam, but such a different vibe. If you’re looking for an affordable hotel in Antwerp check out Hotel Banks. It’s a design hotel located in the fashion district. Banks is in walking distance to most neighbourhoods!

Balls & Glory Antwerp: Het Eilandje in Antwerp is one of my favourite neighbourhoods. Around the MAS museum there are many cool restaurants and bars. We went to Balls & Glory for lunch which is located next to Felix Pakhuis. Tasty meatballs!

Le John Antwerp: Saturday night we went to Le John for dinner. I absolutely love this place! Very good food and great ambiance. Perfect place to celebrate the joy of life :-).

Dolfies: I spotted these sneakers at Hartje Oost and LOVE them! Didn’t buy them yet though since they’re a bit expensive (€ 165,-). But they definetely scream ANNE all over them :-).

Kimchi burger at Bouwplaats Festival: My Sunday was super relaxed. Chilling in the sun doing nothing :-). For dinner we went to Bouwplaats Festival in the former Volkskrant building. I had a super juicy Kimchi burger! The Volkshotel will open in June. Can’t wait to enjoy the sun at the rooftop of Canvas again!

Have a sunny week in Amsterdam!
