Hotspot & Lifestyle update #26

23 June 2014

What a lovely sunny weekend in Amsterdam! I had so much fun going to some of my favourite spots in Amsterdam East to shoot for my #madefor Eastpak blog :-). I also had dinner at the new THT restaurant. Such a cool place! And can’t wait till they open the club overlooking the IJ.

Did you enjoy the sun in too last weekend? You can follow my daily discoveries via social media here: Twitter (@yourLBB) or Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest at ‘yourLBB’

Hotspot & Lifestyle update week 26

opBAUT: I LOVE rooftops! And Amsterdam East has two of the coolest rooftops in town. OpBaut is located on the roof of pop-up restaurant BAUT and the other one on the rooftop of the Volkshotel that will open the doors June 27.

Boterham: my favourite place for breakfast in Amsterdam East is Boterham. Located in a quite street this is a true hidden gem. Try their egg salad sandwich. Delicious!

THT: last weekend I had dinner at THT, the cool new hotspot in Amsterdam North. When the weather is nice you can dine on the outdoor terrace overlooking the IJ. The concept is shared dining and that’s a good choice… everything is so delicious you want to taste as much as possible!

CP113: Have you been to CP113 yet? This cool concept store is located at the Czaar Peterstraat on the East side of the city centre. A beautiful collection of fashion and accessories.

Amsterdam Roest: when the sun shines I like to spend my afternoon at Amsterdam Roest. Drinking beers and eating nachos while sitting with your feed in the sand on the waterfront.

Walter’s – The Woodburry Bar: One of my new favs in Amsterdam East is Walter’s bar and restaurant. Cool interior design, nice crowd and delicious food. If you haven’t been there yet, check it out!

I can’t believe my holiday to Istanbul and the beautiful Med-inn resort is coming up next weekend! But as you can imagine… for a travel blogger there’s no such thing as relaxing on a trip :-). Always on the hunt to find the best places and coolest districts in town.

PS: more hotspots are in the Amsterdam Little Black Book. A city guide to Amsterdam with the best restaurants, shops and things to do. Always new addresses coming up so check out your online Little Black Book daily for the latest hotspots in town!
