Who doesn’t love spending the night in a hotel? The luxury of a chocolate on your pillow and a fresh white bathrobe in your wardrobe. In Amsterdam, there are plenty of cool hotels where you can slowly take in the impressions of the beautiful city. But… at Yourlbb, we’re also big fans of good food. And we love combining that with a night in a lovely hotel!
These cool spots prove that hotel restaurants don’t have to be dull. They are true hotspots in their own right, attracting people from all over the city, regardless of whether they’re staying in the hotel. A significant advantage: since the restaurants are in a hotel, you can usually go there all day. From a good stack of pancakes for breakfast to a fine dining meal in the evening. 18 X The best hotel restaurants in Amsterdam you must try
Breman Brasserie @The Hoxton Lloyd
Breman Brasserie is part of the second branch of The Hoxton in Amsterdam. Near the Oostelijke Handelskade, you can enjoy a great stay, and the brunch here is also excellent. And if you’re looking for an intimate dinner or cosy drinks, you won’t want to leave this place. In short, it’s worth a try.
Oostelijke Handelskade 34, thehoxton.com/amsterdam/lloyd
Spectrum @ Waldorf Astoria
Chef Sidney Schutte (previously De Librije) cooks a storm at Spectrum. In our opinion, it’s the ultimate fine dining destination in Amsterdam. Because the restaurant has no less than two Michelin stars, you’ll want to spend the entire evening here.

BarBounia @ Conservatorium Hotel
Bar Bounia only opened its doors a short while ago as a new hotspot in the Conservatorium Hotel, but it’s already high on the list of favourites for many foodies. According to their description, you can enjoy ‘la dolce vita’ here. And that’s spot on. You can also visit all day – from morning until evening, it’s a delight.

Jansz. @ Pulitzer
For years, Jansz. has been an institution in Amsterdam and the surrounding area. This cosy spot at the Pulitzer always feels warm, and the menu changes regularly, but modern Dutch cuisine is always at the centre. You can go here for lunch, dinner, and drinks.
Reestraat 8, Amsterdam – janszamsterdam.com
Celia @ Kimpton de Witt
As part of Kimpton de Witt, Celia serves a relaxed menu of Californian dishes for brunch and dinner (the Cali Lasagne is a must for dinner!). They also have a taco Tuesday every Tuesday and bottomless brunches on the weekends.

Restaurant Bar Kantoor @ Conscious Hotel
Bar Kantoor is a lovely, no-nonsense spot in Westerpark. You can enjoy brunch, lunch, and dinner (all organic) from the delightful terrace or inside the historic building where the hotel is located. Try their ‘zero waste surprise menu’—it will positively surprise you.

Park Café-Restaurant @ Hotel Arena
At Hotel Arena, you’ll find Park Café-Restaurant with a wonderfully cosy terrace adjacent to the lively Oosterpark. Although you can visit from early morning until late at night, we recommend lunch. Long, leisurely meals followed by a park walk for dessert sound like music to our ears!
‘s-Gravesandestraat 55, Amsterdam – hotelarena.nl
LuminAir @ DoubleTree by Hilton
At LuminAir, you dine (and drink!) at great heights, as this bar slash restaurant is located on the eleventh floor(!). It’s a chic affair, just a stone’s throw from Amsterdam Central Station. In addition to eight signature cocktails, they serve an extensive terrace and restaurant menu.
Oosterdoksstraat 4, Level 11, Amsterdam – luminairamsterdam.com
Arca @ Art’otel
Although the interior could be upgraded, you won’t find many places to eat as wonderfully and uniquely as at Arca. The restaurant is led by a famous Portuguese chef, who occasionally flies over from his homeland to host special tasting evenings. On any other night, you’ll be warmly welcomed in the (cocktail) bar, then move on to the next room for dinner. The cuisine is a tribute to the chef’s homeland – expect modern Portuguese dishes with a high-end touch.
Martelaarsgracht 5, Amsterdam – arcaamsterdam.com
Rosewood
The building has been undergoing extensive renovations since 2020, but the Rosewood Hotel will soon be part of our city. The ultra-luxurious six- (!) star hotel will also feature three spectacular restaurants. It is expected to open its doors in 2025.
Prinsengracht 432 – 436, Amsterdam – rosewoodhotels.com/en/amsterdam
Lotti’s @ The Hoxton
Lotti’s Bar & Grill is amazing! Right on the canal belt and in the super cool Hoxton Hotel that’s only been open for a few months. The design is top-notch: expect blue leather chairs at the bar and mustard yellow sofas to lounge on with a cocktail. But make sure you get to the meal after that, right? ;-) The menu is versatile, from super healthy salads to pasta and lovely grilled dishes.

Press Room @ INK Hotel
Press Room is located in the centre of Amsterdam, in the beautiful INK Hotel, whose name is inspired by the fact that this used to be the headquarters of the newspaper De Tijd. Nice! The menu features small dishes to share of excellent quality. But you can also have breakfast here with delicious pancakes, enjoy good coffee, and later in the day, sip cocktails while fine house tunes are played.

Morgan & Mees
Morgan & Mees is located just a stone’s throw from the Jordaan and is a super cute restaurant and a fantastic boutique hotel. The interior is dreamy, with an excellent herringbone floor. Wow! And the food? The steak frites are at least top-notch!
Tweede Hugo de Grootstraat 2-6, Amsterdam – morganandmees.com
MR PORTER @ W Hotel
Mr Porter is located in the fabulous W Hotel in the heart of the centre of Amsterdam. The restaurant is open all day – so you can go there for breakfast and a late-night drink. Mr Porter is a rooftop restaurant, so you have beautiful views of, for example, the Royal Palace on Dam Square. The menu? It’s primarily shared dining dishes of fish and vegetables to start with. Then we move on to the meat. Think steak, but more luxurious! Be sure to save room for the homemade cheesecake.

Canvasopde7e @ Volkshotel
We love the Volkshotel in the old Volkskrant building in Amsterdam East, for sleeping, drinking, or partying. At Canvasopde7e, you’re always in the right place because the view at this rooftop restaurant is stunning time and time again. You have a 360-degree view of beautiful Amsterdam. Don’t forget to order the ‘dishes to share’ in advance. They include burrata, something we at Yourlbb are crazy about!

The Duchess @ W Hotel
Like Mr Porter, The Duchess is located in the W Hotel in the centre of Amsterdam. It’s a super chic spot where fine dining takes centre stage. French and Italian cuisine form the main thread, but local ingredients are also used. The venue looks as chic as the meals they serve here. Large chandeliers on the ceiling, marble, and high ceilings… We’re fans of this hotspot in the former Kas Bank!

The Lobby @ Hotel V
The Lobby is located in the excellent Hotel V in the centre of Amsterdam. The interior of this hotel is beautiful and chic, yet modern and stylish at the same time. What we really like is that the staff at The Lobby are super friendly. You’ll get a free bottle of water on the table as soon as you arrive, which is handy when you get thirsty from the delicious flammkuchen. The homemade iced tea is fantastic, and the pork neck makes us hungry all over again…

Taiko @ Conservatorium Hotel
Taiko is located in the chic Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam South. The concept: Asian meets local products. Presentation, aroma, texture, and flavour are all equally important to delight your senses! Chef Schilo van Coevorden ensures that everything here is always top-notch. And the restaurant looks beautiful! A bit chic, but modern: we love it.
