Hong Kong is one of my favorite cities in Asia. It has everything… from super authentic eateries to the most luxurious and fantastically decorated restaurants. Two worlds coexist, and that's what makes the city so special and diverse. In Hong Kong, almost all the hotels have amazing views because they're so incredibly high up. New York is nothing compared to that! I've been to Hong Kong a few times now, and whenever I can, I love to make a stopover. During my last trip, I stayed in the Causeway Bay district at the recently renovated hotel The Park Lane by PullmanA modern hotel fully focused on the needs of the modern traveler. The lobby offers workspaces throughout, and there's a coffee bar where you can enjoy excellent coffee. Art by up-and-coming artists hangs everywhere!

In Hotel The Park Lane Hong Kong boasts several restaurants. PLAYT is the perfect daytime restaurant, also serving breakfast. The breakfast is incredibly good and so extensive that you can easily spend an hour there! The delicious dim sum and steamed buns alone are enough. A delicious buffet with dishes from around the world is also served here for lunch. I was particularly impressed by the street art on the walls throughout the restaurant. It's truly geared towards travelers who appreciate a cosmopolitan atmosphere.

The other restaurant in The Park Lane Hotel In Hong Kong, Skye is the rooftop restaurant. This is the place to go for fine dining, and the food is excellent. I was there for lunch, and it's a peaceful oasis with a fantastic view. Skye is also the place to be for cocktails in the evening! It's one of the best rooftop bars in Hong Kong, with breathtaking harbor views. Fun fact: the bar was designed by the same designer as the famous Lebua rooftop bar in Bangkok.

Of course, the rooms are the hotel's most important feature. Most have been recently renovated and are fully equipped. A large bathroom with wonderful toiletries, a huge bed, and of course, a fantastic view, thanks to the high-up seating. The rooms are spacious, which is a major plus for Hong Kong standards.
