the rooftop alone will make you want to stay here
Hong Kong is one of my favourite cities in Asia. You have everything there… From super authentic diners to the most luxurious and trendy designed restaurants. Two worlds existing next to each other; that makes the city so special and diverse. In Hong Kong almost all the hotels have amazing views because they’re incredibly tall. Even New York can’t top this! I’ve been to Hong Kong a couple of times already and if it’s possible I love to have a stop-over there. During my last trip I stayed in the recently renovated hotel The Park Lane by Pullman in the Causeway Bay district. A modern hotel that’s solely aimed at the needs of the modern traveller. You can find work places everywhere in the lobby and there’s a coffeebar where you can get a great coffee. Paintings from upcoming artists are hanging everywhere!
Restaurants x Hotel The Park Lane in Hong Kong
There are several restaurants situated in Hotel The Park Lane in Hong Kong. PLAYT is the restaurant that’s perfect for during the day and for breakfast. This breakfast is crazily good and so extensive that you can easily spend an hour there! For the delicious dim sum and steamed buns alone mar cost you an hour. During lunch they serve a great buffet with dishes from all over the world. What I personally really liked is the street art on the walls through the entire restaurant. It really focuses on the travellers who love a cosmopolitan atmosphere.
The other restaurant in The Park Lane Hotel in Hong Kong is the Sky restaurant on the roof of the hotel. You come here for fine dining and the dishes are really good. I was there for lunch and you find yourself in an oasis of peace with a fantastic view. Skye is also the place to be for cocktails in the evening! It’s one of the best rooftop bars in Hong Kong, with a view of the harbour that takes your breath away. Fun fact: the design of this bar is by the same designer as the famous Lebua rooftop bar in Bangkok.
rooms X The Park Lane Hotel Hong Kong
The rooms are the most important part of the hotel, of course. Most rooms are recently renovated and fully equipped. A large bathroom with lovely bath products, an enormous bed and naturally an awesome view because of the altitude of the room. The rooms are spacious and that’s a big plus for Hong Kong standards.
