Check-in: Hotel Nhow Marseille

hotel nhow marseille for a nice getaway

Have you ever been to Marseille? I rarely hear people talk about this city, even though it is the second largest city in France. Mind you, a while ago it wasn't exactly a city you'd be quick to visit. It lacked atmosphere, there was a fair amount of crime, and tourism wasn't really thriving yet. However, that has changed in recent years. In fact, in 2013 it was named the European Capital of Culture! Marseille is also increasingly busy opening new hotels, restaurants, and hotspots. On top of that, it is a coastal city with many lovely beaches, but also a harbor where you can sit on a terrace. Check out the 10 Best Tips for your Marseille city trip here!

Earlier this year, I already visited the Hotel Nhow Berlin and the Hotel Nhow Milan . The Hotel Nhow Marseille was still undergoing extensive renovations at the time, but has been open since late summer 2018. And I can tell you; for a trip to Marseille, this is highly recommended! Just like the other Nhow hotels, the breakfast here is very extensive (a big plus for me ;-) ), and the nice thing about Hotel Nhow Marseille is that all rooms have a sea view. Now that's a great way to wake up! I always get so fed up when you have bad luck with a room at a hotel and end up looking out onto a dreary parking lot.

As mentioned, all rooms have a sea view. The sea is a short walk from the hotel, but don't worry; the hotel itself has a saltwater swimming pool. There are plenty of sunbeds and chairs around it, so there's always room.

Good to know: Hotel Nhow Marseille is located a bit outside the city center, but a bus stops right in front of the door. A one-way ticket costs around 2 euros and takes you to the center in 20 minutes. But of course, you can also take an Uber or a taxi!
