Hotel IX Amsterdam: design hotel at the Nine Streets

14 November 2014

The coolest hotel at the trendy Nine Streets!

Hotel IX is a very cool hotel if you’re planning on a weekend in Amsterdam. This design hotel is located in the vibrant Nine Streets in Amsterdam. One of the most cosy districts in town full of boutiques, coffee bars and a hip crowd.

At Hotel IX they have five luxury suites with names of the Nine Streets. We stayed at the Runstraat suite. Also very special is the fact that for the interior design all items are sold in the Nine Streets. Super local! For example: the mini bar at Hotel IX is filled with water from Marie Stella Maris. Extra nice: the mini bar is included with the room. Something I think is a great asset of a hotel.

The interior design of Hotel IX in Amsterdam is trendy. Brick walls mixed with black and white photo wall paper of the Nine Streets. A huge bed which sleeps very good and  mix of design and vintage furniture. In the hall there’s a painting of Selwyn Senatori on the wall.

If you stay at Hotel IX in Amsterdam it’s fun to explore the hotel. There are so many cute stores in the Nine Streets. I’m sure you will enjoy your stay there.
