Because I travel a lot, I naturally always try to stay up-to-date on the latest ins and outs of hotspots, low spots, must-visits, and so on. Whenever I read something about the new hipster neighborhood or just the coolest, hippest area in town, I quickly jot down a note in Evernote for when I ever visit. This way, I've now collected the best tips for the best up-and-coming and trendy neighborhoods in quite a few cities. Of course you can in Istanbul, Passing all the palaces and the splendor. Definitely worth a visit if it's your first time. But it's even more fun to meander through the narrow, old streets in search of great coffee shops and other trendy spots.
