It is, after all, the city of glitz and glamour. But if you're looking for a break from gambling crowds and an overload of luxury, I have a few tips for you that will show you a different side of the city. Las Vegas is different from other cities. So the hipster spots we've selected for this guide are different from the hotspots you'd visit in Williamsburg, for example. Las VegasBut we've done our best to gather some great tips! If you didn't know, you'd almost forget you were eating at these restaurants inside a large hotel. Because that's how 90% of Las Vegas is set up! Sounds a bit surreal, right? And sometimes it is!

Once a casino, now Gold Spike Las Vegas's first true boutique hotel. With just 44 uniquely decorated rooms, this motel-style hotel features a pool and the Oasis restaurant, which serves delicious comfort food.

The best things aren't often in the city center. And that certainly applies to DW Bistro! Don't miss this hotspot for a delicious weekend brunch.

Just two blocks from Fremont Street, you'll find a wealth of street art in Las Vegas. This area is also known as East Fremont. Impressive murals, and block after block after block! Each one more beautiful than the last.

The streets around Fremont Street in Las Vegas's historic Downtown district are home to a large number of bars. They're great if you're looking for something different than the hotel bars along the Strip. Our favorite off-the-Strip bars, which have a strong hipster appeal for Las Vegas, are: The Velveteen Rabbit, Beauty bar en The Griffin.
After all that partying, are you craving something healthy? The place for healthy juices pressed straight from the farm into your cup is Grass Roots. Also perfect for take-out!
London has a Boxpark, well, Las Vegas has its own container park. You'll find numerous small shops and restaurants housed in shipping containers. While Las Vegas is naturally full of all sorts of tourists, it has Downtown Container Park definitely a hipster touch!

YES, Las Vegas has with the opening of EAT. Another great breakfast and lunch spot. You'll find this charming, daytime-only eatery in Downtown Las Vegas. I was pleasantly surprised by this hotspot! Definitely stop by if you're in Las Vegas.

Do you love hot dogs? Do you love rotisserie chicken? YES, YES? Then you'll definitely want to stop by The Beerhaus in Las Vegas! You'll find this charming restaurant in The Park, a green strip off The Strip where it's a great place to relax. The Beer House's interior is industrial and modern. Order at the counter and be sure to order a local beer!
Without a doubt, Le Thai is the best Thai restaurant in Las Vegas. The three-color curry is a must-try! At Le Thai, businessmen and hipsters sit side by side enjoying Thai food with an American twist.

On East Fremont Street you will find the nice hipster hotspot PublicUSPerhaps the best in Las Vegas! Enjoy breakfast through dinner at this canteen-style eatery. Delicious sandwiches with farm-to-table fillings and excellent coffee. Need we say more?

I thought visiting the Neon Museum was one of the best things I did in Las Vegas. You get a tour of vintage neon signs that once adorned Downtown Las Vegas, known back then as The Strip! It was really fun to hear the stories behind the faded glory.
At this spot in downtown Las Vegas, you can do more than just spin records and drink good coffee. If you like the record, you can also buy it to take home. A great souvenir, right? The Beat Coffeehouse also often have bands on for those who enjoy live music!

HMMMM... tacos are something you can wake us up for! In Downtown Las Vegas, for good tacos and tequila, go to The Beat CoffeehouseThey have over 100 different kinds of tequila here! Try to snag a spot on the patio for some great people-watching!
