Hippo Hotel Cape Town

Check in at the Hippo Boutique Hotel in Cape Town to discover the hotspots at Kloof Street. This hotel is located around the corner of places you should visit when you’re in Cape Town like: Once (Yours Truly), Chalk and Chork, Cafe Paradiso and Orphanage.

The Hippo Boutique Hotel is modern with comfy rooms. The interior design made me think of vintage Danish design! My room had a duplex style living- and bedroom. So spacious! You can book rooms at the Hippo Boutique Hotel from € 70,- and up.

Especially during the evening the building looks super cozy. With all the lights and the people that are eating at the restaurant right next to the hotel. On the right side there’s the busy little Mexican bar called the Fat Mexican. It’s nice to have a drink there before going to bed! From the Hippo Hotel there are all kinds of fun places to go that are on walk distance, Kloof street is really safe to walk at night as well. If you want to go further away then take an Uber!

Tip: I booked the Hippo Boutique Hotel via Booking.com. The new Destination Finder is super handy for helping you with planning your journey or to decide in which neighbourhood you’d want to stay at. Booking.com has all kinds of different room offers, from tree huts to castles and from budget to super deluxe. Always with the lowest price guarantee!
