A high tea gives you that special on top of the world feeling, if you know what I mean. You can taste a lot of savory and sweet snacks and sweet tooth me can tell you that that’s one of the most amazing things in the world. But where can you find the tastiest high tea in Amsterdam? The Duchess: The afternoon tea at The Duchess is a culinairy party. What starts with figuring out which tea you want to taste. The dishes include dishes like a wellington with chicken, brioche croutons with egg and truffle that change regularly, and believe it or not homemade cotton candy. You can even order a high tea with 20 different snacks!
Waldorf: together with the afternoon tea at The Duchess the afternoon tea at the Waldorf is the best in town when you ask us. What a joy to eat all the delights! This afternoon tea is perfect when you have something special to celebrate, because the Waldorf is very chic of course.
Grand Café Krasnapolsky: One of our favourite high tea’s can be ordered at Grand Café Krasnapolsky. Besides tea (of course), you’ll get homemade scones, hors d’oevre from the counter and mini sandwiches. Also sweet snacks from the Cake Room and if you like a glass of champagne. Hmm!
De Bakkerswinkel: Visit De Bakkerswinkel for a festive high tea, or as they say: an afternoon tea. Fresh scones with jam and clotted cream, quiche, fruit salads and of course homemade cakes. And while tasting you enjoy your tea, glass of wine or orange juice.
Conservatorium Hotel: A four-course high tea who says no to that? The high tea at the Conservatorium Hotel is one for the bucket list. Enjoy a glass of bubbles and the best quality sandwiches with for example tartare and smoked salmon. YUM!
Beter & Leuk: Good news for all the vegans. At Beter & Leuk you can order a vegan high tea! You can choose The Classic One or the The Healthy One. In classic high tea you get sandwiches, scones with homemade jam & cream and homemade cakes. At the healthy high tea the homemade sweets are made without refined sugars, you also get a salad and a soup.
Tassenmuseum Hendrikje: How cute is this? After your museum visit you can get a high tea! Go for the High Tea Classic with three courses. You’ll start with a round of savory snacks and sandwiches, what follows with a round of sweet treats and you’ll finish with the most delicious scones!
Gartine: At Gartine in the city centre of Amsterdam you can order one of the best high teas. The snacks and sweets are made from the finest organic ingredients, most of the time from the kitchen garden. The cakes are served on cute plates for that real cozy living room feeling.
Lavinia Good Food: The vegan high tea at Lavinia Good Food consists of frittata’s, toast with avocado, rice crackers with hummus, sweets and of course lots of tea. This is also our favorite spot to get that wonderful spring feeling. The interior is so colorful and cheerful!
De Drie Graefjes: At The Three Graefjes you can not only eat thé most delicious red velvet cake, you can also order a high tea. We can guarantee that that red velvet cake, will come back on the etagère. Yes!
