Het Amsterdamse Proeflokaal Amsterdam: new meeting place in Amsterdam south

5 April 2017

The newest meeting place located at the stadionplein voor you and your friends

In April Het Amsterdamse Proeflokaal opens at the stadionplein in the south of Amsterdam. It’s going to be a new meeting place in Amsterdam, where you can taste the flavours of the city. Start your day at the breakfast bar or come back a bit later to try out other dishes at the various tasting tables. Fun fact: they prepare the dishes right in front of you so know exactly how your dish was made! What to expect? A seafoodbar and many other stands where you can order the most delicious dishes! But also a beerworld where you can learn more about beer (and taste it of course).

het amsterdamse proeflokaal: Food, food and much more!

The space is going to be 18.000m2 and has two floors! Enough to do, see and try! There will be typical Amsterdam food but also food from all over the world, that at one point found its way to this beautiful city! Sounds perfect right?

You don’t just go to Het Amsterdamse Proeflokaal for the food. There is enough to do on the second floor as well! Learn more about the history of food and food from Amsterdam by watching the Food Experience movie. Getting hungry? Visit the wine world and try out different types of wine and matches bites. Table for two please!

het amsterdamse proeflokaal

Het Amsterdamse Proeflokaal works together with the ROC (a school in the Netherlands) to prepare the next hospitality talents for the real world. That’s why ROC students who are studying to be a cook or waiter are welcome here to learn more about the profession.

Het Amsterdamse Proeflokaal will be open 7 days a week, from 6 in the morning. So do you have an early meeting or want to wake up slowly with a good cup of coffee? Then is Het Amsterdamse Proeflokaal the right place for you!
