Imagine… Staying at the Grand Daddy Hotel in Cape Town in an Airstream trailer on a rooftop terrace! Sounds cool, right? All the trailers have a different theme. I stayed at the Grand Daddy Hotel in the Karoo trailer! The rooftop terrace is the place to be for drinks on weekends. And don't forget to check if there might be rooftop cinema nights if you're in Kaapstad are!

The Grand Daddy Hotel is a cozy (and affordable!) boutique hotel in Cape Town. The rooms are fine, but it's much more fun to sleep in a trailer on the roof. Keep in mind on weekends that you shouldn't go to bed too early because the rooftop is still open ;-). But if you're a party girl like me and like to dance the night away in Kaapstad the Grand Daddy Hotel is perfect!

The location of the Grand Daddy Hotel is perfect! This boutique hotel is located on Long Street, the main street of KaapstadHere you'll find a wealth of great restaurants (like Royal Eatery for the tastiest burgers, Yours Truly coffee bar, Orchard On Long for delicious fresh juices and superfoods, and Dear Me for the best vegetarian food in Cape Town). Long Street is also a great place to shop for local souvenirs. The Waterfront, with all its shops, is within walking distance of the Grand Daddy Hotel.
