Terrace besides the Oosterpark: GRAND CAFÉ DE TROPEN AMSTERDAM

In August  another great new terrace opened in Amsterdam East because… the Grand Café de Tropen opened! De Tropen is situated in the monumental Royal Tropical Institute. With a beautiful terrace next to the Oosterpark. The official opening of the park was in September, but even before it was possible to have our morning or evening walks there. And with the Grand Café the Oosterpark area will be even nicer!

The interior of Grand Café de Tropen in Amsterdam is looking modern and at the same time it will keep reminding you of the history of the monument. Classic but with a fresh look. And the food? There will be food served all day that is made with local and fresh ingredients. The menu is inspired by all kinds of different cultures of the world.

But we’re very excited about it! That’s what I cán tell. Especially since the Grand Café de Tropen will be the perfect place to eat or to hang out at the terrace after for example a visit at the Tropenmuseum.
