How wonderful it is to cycle or walk along them, from bridge to bridge. And as soon as the first rays of sunshine appear, all of Amsterdam can be found on the water. But the Canal Belt wouldn't be the Canal Belt if it weren't packed with food, drink, and shopping spots. Restaurants in the Canal Belt
- Lotti's Bar & GrillThe Hoxton Hotel's restaurant! A great place to dine in the evening or enjoy Sunday brunch.
- Cafe de Klepel: nice gastrobar in the Prinsenstraat where you can eat delicious food.
- JD Williams Whisky BarMore than just a whisky bar! At JD Williams, you can also order delicious Korean dishes, perfect for sharing.
- Kitchen & Bar Van Rijn: a fancy, hip restaurant on Rembrandtplein. There's a whole lot hanging here tof atmosphere, DJs play house tunes and the cocktails are very good.
Oh Mai: spot on the Utrechtsestraat where you can eat authentic Vietnamese dishes prepared in Mama's style.
- Ali OcakbasiThis restaurant started in Turkey, but has since established itself worldwide. And now in Amsterdam! Expect delicious, authentic dishes.
- De Luwte: All-time favorite restaurant where you can eat incredibly well! Perfect spot for a romantic evening out.
- Johannes RestaurantThis French-inspired restaurant is within walking distance of the Nine Streets. It features a new menu every two weeks!
- Tempo DoeloeIndonesian rice tables? Yes, please! This Indonesian restaurant serves delicious food.
- Lion NoirLunch, dinner, cocktails. It's all possible at Lion Noir!


Coffee in the Canal Belt
- BoccaA coffee paradise in the center of Amsterdam! Coffee roastery Bocca now has a location where you can learn all about coffee and enjoy the best coffees.
- Caffe Il MomentoThis canal-side coffee bar makes coffee from a variety of beans, all roasted in Amsterdam.

- LaviniaThe food at Lavinia is pure and organic. You won't find any E-numbers in any of the dishes! Everything is made fresh daily, making it a great place to eat healthy!
- pickLooking for a healthy lunch spot? Then go to Pluk! For fresh juices, smoothies, salads, and sandwiches. And handy: everything is to-go!
- Coffee Concepts Sandwich Bar: At Reguliers, Coffee Concepts has a second location where everything revolves around sandwiches and coffee.
- Dr. BlendNeed a vitamin boost? Then you really need to go to Dr. Blend. Here you'll find the best superfoods, juices, and other beverages. It's also a great spot for organic beauty products and clothing.
- Ree7: a warm, modern and atmospheric restaurant for breakfast and lunch!
- Pure Coffee: hidden gem in the Utrechtsestraat for juices, sandwiches and good coffee.
- Vegabond: a vegan hotspot in the city center!
- SLA : Order a salad from the menu or create your own salad at this salad bar!
- Marie Stella Maris ArchivesThis concept store is right on the corner of Keizersgracht and Huidenstraat. You'd easily walk right past it if you weren't looking! But if you find it, you can enjoy the café. Parisian bistro style!
- Toos & RoosA cheerful little cafe for breakfast and lunch. The interior is so colorful and inviting, and be sure to order a delicious soup.
- GoldfinchWhen you think of the Waldorf Astoria, you might immediately think of Librije's Sister. But at Goldfinch Brasserie, you can enjoy a delicious brunch!

Take out in the Canal Belt
- Kagetsu: In my opinion, the best sushi in Amsterdam is at Kagetsu!
- stach: at this caterer you can get freshly baked bread, tasty cheese and sausages for drinks and healthy fresh meals.
- Hello BeautifulOn the corner of Prinsengracht and Utrechtsestraat, you'll find the Italian delicatessen Ciao Bella. Here you can get delicious, authentic Italian dishes such as pasta and antipasti.
- Urban Cacao: a chocolate shop with delicious macarons!

Drinks & dancing in the Canal Belt
