I'd heard so much about Graanmarkt 13 restaurant in Antwerp, but whenever I tried to make a reservation, it was always full. During my last trip to Antwerp, I finally managed to make it. I'm going to eat at Graanmarkt 13 Antwerp :). The restaurant is located in the basement of a stately home. The owners of Graanmarkt 13 Antwerp live on the top floor, and the shop is on the first floor, but more on that later. The restaurant's menu features delicious seasonal dishes, prepared into little works of art. In new restaurants, I always enjoy a tasting menu or chef's menu if possible. We ate a delicious 5-course menu with unique flavors at Graanmarkt 13 Antwerp. For example, I tried a raw sea urchin ceviche for the first time! It's nice to have a drink at the bar before or after dinner.
Every city I visit, I scour the concept stores. There's nothing more rewarding than discovering the collections the owners of Graanmarkt 13 Antwerp have put together. At Graanmarkt 13 Antwerp, they sell beautiful (and unfortunately, for some, expensive!) labels, such as clothing by Isabel Marant and jewelry by Bibi van der Velden. The homeware collection is also fantastic, with many unique and handmade items. I'm especially fond of the kitchenware!
