Gebr. Hartering: one of the best restaurants in Amsterdam
If you’re looking for a good restaurant in Amsterdam, try to get a reservation at Gebr. Hartering. Two brothers with the same love for good food and ingredients started a restaurant together. Now it’s one of the best restaurants in Amsterdam. At Gebr. Hartering they have a daily 6 course menu with the best seasonal local produce. I can highly recommend this menu if you like to take it slow and enjoy something special. The brothers Hartering use all parts of the meat. Parts that maybe sound a bit scary are true delights when prepared by the chef! With every course they advice the best wines to make the food experience even better. Start the night with an aperitief like a fruity Poiré. The starters consist of three different plates to share. I loved the tartar of white fish. On the website of Gebr. Hartering you can see the menu of the day. For some extra’s they charge a supplement. From all the dinner options this is one of the best restaurants in Amsterdam and one of my favourites!
