Cocktails and Good Italian Food: Foodbar 63 Graden Amsterdam
Favourite hotspots of Yourlbb earn a blog update now and then. This also goes for Foodbar 63 Graden in Schinkelbuurt. What a great place to eat and socialize! A little hidden behind Hoofddorpplein and therefore the hidden gem of the neighbourhood.
What used to be a an old neighbourhood bar, became a nice foodbar after renovations. The two enthusiastic girls Tjo-kwan and Klaartje have rebuilt everything themselves and created a very nice atmosphere. Foodbar 63 Graden Amsterdam feels like a living room, but then industrial and hip. Pay extra attention to the big table in the center: this is actually a 130 year old door of Klaartjes grandpa! Funny right?
Menu X Foodbar 63 Graden Amsterdam
The menu changes weekly at Foodbar 63 Graden. This allows them to create seasonal dishes, to reduce waste and just to be creative. Creative with the Italian cuisine! But every week you do find the antipasti platter on the menu, always made with different Italian specialties. Last week we could enjoy some grilled haloumi and fried calamari, followed by a delicious risotto with scallops and meatloaf with vegetables from the school garden of Foodbar’s nephew. Sooooo delicious!
Although I again went to Foodbar 63 Graden Amsterdam with my love (date-night!), it’s also a nice hotspot to meet with friends, to share a platter or hang at the bar drinking gin & tonics! Or order the Red Shandy – a beer cocktail!
