The summer is still going strong and even though we’re missing the sunny weather, we still like to go to food festivals. We went to a lot of festivals already, and there are still a few festivals coming! That’s why we listed the last and best food festivals for this summer. You do not want to miss these festivals; an Asian Food Festival, a Chicken Festival and even a Wine Festival! This is our food festival guide 2017 with the food festivals in Amsterdam you don’t want to miss.

7 x food festivals to go with friends

De Parade – Also this year we will ‘end’ the food festival season with a good one, De Parade. Till August 27 we can eat, drink and float in the carousel. Yes, a ride in the carousel is a must at De Parade. We’re so ready for it!
Date: August 11 till 27 2017
Location: Martin Luther Kingpark
Price: Till 4 PM it’s free, after that € 7,50.

Planet Oedipus Music & Beer Festival – A festival were breweries from all over the world are coming together to show you their self made beers. Enjoy a day full of beer, music and fun.
Date: August 12 and 13, 2017
Location: Noordoogst
Price: € 15 for one day and € 25 for two days

24Kitchen Festival – Come to the 24Kitchen Festival where you can go to cooking classes and tastings to learn something and where you can go to for just some eating and drinking ;-) 
Date: August 12 and 13
Location: Foodhallen – Amsterdam West
Price: Free, but if you buy a ticket for the festival you will have exclusive access to the cooking classes, tastings and much more. A ticket costs € 12.50

Kip Festival – On August 25, 26 and 27, you can eat chicken all day at the Rembrandt Park in Amsterdam West during the Kip Festival Amsterdam. Boiled chicken, roasted chicken, grilled chicken, fried chicken, grated chicken.

Asian Food festival – If you miss Asia and her wonderful kitchen, you can’t miss this festival. All snacks from Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan and India are all here to taste.

Street Food Festival – This festival doesn’t need a lot of explanation. The best street food dishes from all over the world are waiting for you. YES!

Amsterdam Wine Festival – Wine, wine, wine! The only festival that missed in our food festival guide was a festival with wine; the Amsterdam Wine festival. Without food the festival is not complete so we can also eat dishes and bites from the places where the wine is coming from. So next to your wine from Australia you can eat kangaroo meat. Nice!
