Mercat Amsterdam: bar-restaurant

Mercat Amsterdam: a Spanish market in the heart of Amsterdam!

Pincho’s and more

Spanish cuisine new style! With bar- restaurant Mercat, Amsterdam can add another hotspot to its restaurant list. From now there houses at\’s a Spanish roofed market in the old Panama building (former restaurant and club). But with a modern touch. Think of design chairs and a trendy industrial feeling. I really like that style! But maybe most important feature of Mercat is that the service is great and the pincho\’s to die for. They have an extensive menu with lots of choices but the most fun is to just go to the bar and choose your pincho\’s and tapas yourself.

What\’s on the menu at bar- restaurant Mercat?
Even if you don\’t like tapas Mercat is a good choice to go to. They serve delicious meat or fish plates (which I spotted at the neighbours table!). My boyfriend and I tried the bocadillo\’s tapas and pincho\’s. They\’re so good! You should definitely try the duck liver and the ham pincho.

3 reasons to go to Mercat in Amsterdam:
– it\’s an all-day hotspot for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
– the vibe at Mercat is really good and the huge square bar is the perfect spot to have drinks and a bite with friends.
– nothing remembers of the old Panama restaurant, especially not the crowd and that\’s a huge step forward.
