Finally we can enjoy the nice (and long) summer nights on the terrace again. Together with friends, the sun, a good drink and some good food too. When the sun starts shining again, we immediately crave fish & chips! That’s why we made a list with the best spots that have fish & chips in Amsterdam. Go there and try them yourself. Enjoy!

11 x the best fish and chips in amsterdam that you want to order

The Seafood Bar: The Seafood Bar has multiple locations in Amsterdam, which means fish & chips everywhere! They have fish & chips with cod, kibbeling, fritto misto or squid rings.

Visbar Beet: A must visit for real fish lovers! Good fish dishes that are affordable too. Perfect.

The Good Companion: A nice fish & chips spot in the Jordaan is The Good Companion. They even have a vegetarian one too, I want to try it!

The Butcher: Most people will know The Butcher as a good burger restaurant. But yes, you can get fish & chips here too! Order the ‘Godfather’, god with fries.

Snappers: This Tex-Mex bar/restaurant is a must visit. Not just for a fun night out with friends, also for good and tasty bar food. They have a Mexican fish & chips on the menu, with BBQ sauce.

Tijger en de Vis: The concept here is easy: choose the fish you like, add a salad, pasta or mash and fries for just 12,50.

Par Hasard: For the best fries you have to go to Par Hasard. Lucky you because they have fish here so you can make your fish & chips complete!

De Foodhallen: For a good and nice dinner you should go to the Foodhallen in Amsterdam West. Get your food at one of the stands, from pizza to fish, and have a good evening! You can get fish & chips here too, go to The Butcher and Le Big Fish.

YourLBB's newest lists

Pesca: On the Rozengracht you’ll find Pesca and they have the best fish & chips on the menu! Pesca is a great place to eat with friends and family and catch up.

Saltzer Fish Bar: Want to eat fish & chips close to the central station of Amsterdam? Go to Saltzer Fish Bar! Fish & chips with gambas, hake, cod or a mix.

Viscafé de Gouden Hoek: Another fine place for real fish lovers. There is enough on the menu to choose from, including different kinds of fish & chips. One is made with a beer batter and remoulade. Sounds good!

De Biergrill: Yes please! Go to De Biergrill and try their fish & chips, prepared in ijwit-beer batter and with homemade fries of course. And in the summer you can sit outside!

Enjoy some of these fish & chips in Amsterdam with friends!
