Figo Vintage Amsterdam: the largest vintage store in Amsterdam-Noord

Stop the presses! FIGO Vintage Amsterdam opened its doors earlier this year in Amsterdam North and has since become the paradise for vintage lovers. No vintage store in the city center can compete with this, because at FIGO you'll find a whopping 1000m² of vintage gems – from wedding dresses to vintage Levi's jeans. It's a bit of a treasure hunt, but the rewards are worth it!

Why every vintage lover should visit FIGO Vintage Amsterdam as soon as possible

On Asterweg in Amsterdam-Noord, you'll now find FIGO Vintage Amsterdam, a massive warehouse brimming with vintage clothing for children, men, and women. The team behind FIGO is no stranger to the fashion world; they supply many (Amsterdam) vintage fashion stores with their inventory. They noticed that the average store only carries standard sizes, while vintage clothing actually comes in a wide range. A shame, because this left FIGO with a lot of clothing. These leftover items (and more!) can now be found in their enormous warehouse, which is, by the way, very well organized.

The FIGO Vintage offer

Anyone who thinks the store's size makes it impossible to succeed is mistaken, because the opposite is true. At FIGO, all clothing is spaciously organized and categorized by type. For example, all jeans, shorts, blouses, and sweaters are displayed together. Size sorting also makes things clear. Every day the store is open (Friday through Sunday), the team also makes room for an outfit of the day, selecting a few items they believe deserve pride of place.

There's also a separate section for shoes – cowboy boot fans will be in their element here. You'll find everything from Sendras to ultimate classics, Dr. Martens, and more. Besides vintage, FIGO sells a small selection of handmade items, including Ponja, a brand that produces colorful tops.

Also take a look at their Instagram, because they show the new content several times a week via Reels. At least, a small portion of the new content – it's simply too much to film it all.

Come with me to get breakfast in Taipei 🥢 Straight from the airport to this little spot to taste soup dumplings and so much more! That's what I call a soft landing 😉
Just back from Catalonia and I thought: I'll share some tips right away. During our road trip, we stayed two nights in the Ebro Delta. An incredibly fun stop for families and foodies alike, where there is plenty to do. · A boat trip to the Musclarium is a must! Here you eat oysters and mussels straight from the farm, in the middle of the sea. · Admire the flamingos and black ibises that can be found here all year round. · Rice is grown in the Ebro Delta all year round. For paella, but Kensho also makes sake and miso from it! You can visit them during a tasting. · Cycling along the rice fields, canoeing on the Ebro River, and visiting various beaches. It was still a bit too cold now, but there is plenty to do. · The towns are very low-key and not that exciting, but you can find fantastic local food there. From the Michelin-awarded Les Moles* to local eateries like Vermuteria Bonmarisc and Lo Tinglado. We ate a lot of fish, but also anemone fritters (a first!). Now back to work, and I’m going to create an extensive travel guide of this road trip through Catalonia, but you’ll want to save these tips for a future adventure. ✖️✖️✖️ 🖊️ @anne_de_buck { In this post, I share tips for the Ebro Delta in Spain (Delta de l'Ebre).
