Le Food Walk is back during the festive season with TAKE-AWAY WALKS on Saturday and Sunday in Amsterdam, Haarlem & Utrecht.
Do you remember how nice it was to walk outside with your friends while enjoying some tasty bites and drinks?
The past few months we’ve been busy with eating out and check-boxing all the restaurants that were on our food hit list after the lockdowns.
But, after so many sit-down dinners ánd the idea that we will be working from home more and more in the upcoming months we have to admit: we’re missing our daily walks!
- Being outside and working on those steps with your friends, date, family or colleagues…
- Discovering Amsterdam, Utrecht or Haarlem with a self-guided walk…
- And eating your way from food stop to food stop…
Le Food Walk is BACK for 5 weekends in November and December!
CITIES: Amsterdam, Haarlem & Utrecht.
DATES:
December 4 & 5 + 11 & 12 + 18 & 19 (for now)
TIMES: Start between 12 pm and 4 pm. Finish before 5 pm.
ABOUT THE ROUTE: The starting location is fixed. There your ticket will be scanned and when it’s valid you will get your ‘stamp card’ to receive the bites and drinks as described. A few days before the walk you you can download the digital PDF guide with the walking route via the link in the ticket e-mail. This PDF will include a map, festive talking-points and tips for Amsterdam, Haarlem or Utrecht.
GOOD TO KNOW:
– Vegetarian bites are available when pre-ordered (choose the vegetarian ticket).
– Choice for alcohol-free drink is available (no pre-order necessary).
– If you are pregnant we recommend to order a vegetarian ticket.
– We are sorry that we can’t accommodate any allergies or special requests for the Festive Walks at this point.
– Rain, snow or shine, Le Food Walk continues as normal.
– Please note that tickets are non-refundable and that switching between dates or cities is not possible.
– If for some reason you can’t join the Food Walk you bought you can sell your tickets on TicketSwap or make someone else really happy (it’s a perfect present!).
– Le Food Walk follows the RIVM-rules. Le Food Walk is a TAKE-AWAY walk, the restaurant partners do not reserve a spot on the terrace or inside because the concept is TO GO. The good thing? You don’t need a QR code to pick up your bites and drinks. BUT without a valid QR code you can not use the toilet or stay around to eat your food. Of course you can always use ‘Testen voor Toegang’ for free to get a QR code for the loo ;-).
Le Food Walk Haarlem
The Christmas market in Haarlem may be canceled in Haarlem, but with the Festive Food Walk you can still do something fun with your friends in November and December. After the success of the first edition in Haarlem, you can walk, eat and drink again and enjoy 4 bites and 2 drinks at 4 different food spots during this winter edition! During this culinary walk through Amsterdam Old-South, De Pijp and the City Center you will pass some of our favourite food addresses and you will receive 5 snacks and 2 drinks included with your walk. We discovered some names such as Vermaz, Jack’s BBQ Shack and De Wijnkaart ourselves during the past lockdowns and we’re thrilled to feature them in this new Food Take-away Walk. Sjefietshe and No Rules are well-known names in Amsterdam, but did you know that No Rules recently opened a second location in the Vondelpark? You will visit it during this Festive Food Walk! Le Food Walk Amsterdam – CENTRAL
With the beautiful lights in the city center, now that the days are getting shorter, a culinary walk through the center of Amsterdam should not be missed. We kick off the route in Amsterdam West at Druis, an old friend of Le Food Walk. Then the route continues towards the center and we will introduce you to new hotspots, such as: Wijmpjes Deli, Benelux Wine, Chamuyero and Pequ. At these favourite food addresses you get 4 snacks and 2 drinks included with your walk! Good to know: on Saturday the walk includes Wijmpjes Deli and on Sunday you will visit their neighbours Benelux Wine. Tickets cost € 34,50 + € 1,- service fee >>

Do you remember how much fun Le Food Walk Utrecht was in the spring? Good news, because in November and December we have mapped out a very nice culinary walk through Utrecht. Along the favourites that participated before and with two very nice new restaurants, which are so brand new that there is a good chance that even Utrecht residents have not been there yet! We can say that the food scene in Utrecht is hot and happening. If you haven’t been there for a while, this Festive Food Walk is a great (and delicious!) moment to (re)discover Utrecht.
