Especially during this period, it's likely that travel agencies and tour operators have purchased more than the number of trips currently being booked. Good for you, because they're now offering these trips as last-minute holiday deals! These deals can include everything from flights and accommodation to meals and activities, often at a significant discount.
How to find the best last-minute holiday deals
When searching for last-minute deals, it's important to be flexible with your travel dates and destinations. Many deals are for travel periods outside peak season (unfortunately for anyone like me who's tied to school holidays!) or for destinations that might not be as popular. You'll find the best last-minute holiday deals by spending a considerable amount of time searching well-known travel websites, such as Booking.com or Tui.nl (For example, check out their last-minute flight holidays up to €499 hereBut I also definitely recommend subscribing to their newsletters and following their social media accounts, as they often share their offers. I often use them to find the best flight deals!
book your holiday separately or as a package holiday?
Don't underestimate the value of a package holiday now that airfare has become so incredibly expensive. Especially for popular holiday destinations, booking a package holiday instead of individual flights can save you a considerable amount of money. So always check if the hotel you're considering is also offered as a package holiday and compare the cost compared to booking everything separately.

I was never really into it before I became a mother myself, but now when we go to a zoo or other kid-friendly amusement park, I always check websites like Advantageous outings, Holiday auctions, tripper of Action of the Day. If you're lucky, you can sometimes save up to 50% on the entrance fee. There's certainly not always something interesting listed, but you can easily search by location (like Amsterdam or any other location in the Netherlands), so you never know!
