The Foodwalk X Amsterdam Light Festival 2026

GOOD TO KNOW about the Foodwalks:

• Total distance of the Amsterdam Light Festival walk: 6,5 km.
• Allow at least 2,5 to 3 hours for the Foodwalks, including waiting times and eating or drinking moments.
• You can start at a location of your choice. This year, your stamp card is digital and can be found in the app with your unique code.
• Start early so you can admire the entire route before 23:00 PM. This is when the light displays go out again.
• The Amsterdam Light Festival app is active until January 19th, so you can always finish or relive the walk at another time! But beware: snacks are only included on the evening of your ticket.

Useful to know before you buy a Foodwalk ticket:

• Rain or shine... the Foodwalks always take place!
• Tickets are non-refundable and exchanging dates is not possible.
• Allergies or dietary requirements cannot be taken into account.
• Regular tickets (fish, meat, or vegetarian snack) and vegetarian tickets (vegetarian only) are available. NB: dThe Oyster Walk cannot be vegetarian.
• If a drink is included, a 0.0% alternative is available.

Early Dinner

The Early Dinner is for anyone who prefers a sit-down dinner and then wants to explore the Amsterdam Light Festival at their leisure. You'll start the evening promptly at 5:00 PM with a delicious two-course meal (starter and main course) at one of the partner restaurants, after which you can stroll into the city to view the light artworks. Late Night Dinner 

The program Late Night Dinner It's perfect for anyone who wants a bite to eat after strolling through the Amsterdam Light Festival. End your evening at 9:00 PM with a delicious two-course meal (main course and dessert) at one of the partner restaurants.
