Farolin is a wonderful place to end the day
Farolin in Santa Maria, Cape Verde, is without a doubt one of my favorite restaurants on the island. It's a lovely place to go in the late afternoon and enjoy the sunset with a cocktail or a cold bottle of white wine. From Farolin's terrace, you have a beautiful view of Santa Maria beach. If you ask me, it's the most charming town on Sal. Cape Verde.
The restaurant's kitchen opens for dinner at 19 p.m., and it's definitely recommended to dine here at least once (or more). The terrace is pleasantly lit in the evening, and the food at Farolin is delicious. The menu is full of fresh fish dishes and some typical Cape Verdean dishes. Do you like fish? Then definitely try the tuna!
