EPCOT is Disney World's most international park and feels like two worlds in one. On one side, you'll discover futuristic attractions full of technology and innovation, while on the other, you'll embark on a culinary journey through pavilions, each representing a different country. The pace is a bit slower here, making the park ideal for families (with older children) or for couples and groups of friends who want to immerse themselves in a little less of the classic Disney vibe.
In this article, we've compiled all the best tips for you. From the best hotels to stay in, to attractions suitable for all ages, cultural shows and experiences you won't want to miss, and of course, the snacks and dishes you absolutely must try during your walk around the world at Epcot.
PS: Unfortunately, we had terrible weather during our visit to Epcot, but I hope the photo report gives you a good impression!

EPCOT is Disney World's most expansive park and is often visited by families who enjoy traveling the world together without ever getting on a plane. The park is built around a large lake, surrounded by pavilions representing a different country, such as France, Japan, Germany, and Canada. Each country is fully themed, with restaurants and even a dedicated attraction in some countries. During my visit, I found that it's less about adrenaline and hitting as many attractions as possible and more about discovering, experiencing, tasting, and enjoying. Especially during one of the many (food) festivals held throughout the year! Going to EPCOT with kids? Here's a shortlist of attractions they're sure to love!
The Seas with Nemo & Friends iIt's a fun, relaxing dark ride where you step into a "shell" and journey through the story of Nemo. Along the way, you'll encounter familiar characters like Bruce and Crush. (Suitable for all ages and heights.)
This boat ride is a must for all Frozen fans. Sail through the world of Arendelle, with familiar characters and songs like Let It Go and even a small splash zone. (Suitable for everyone: all ages and heights.)

During this water walk, children can playfully learn all about water. Some sections have a small splash area, but there are also dry paths for those who prefer to stay dry. (Suitable for everyone: all ages and heights.)
You might already be familiar with this attraction from Paris, but Remy's Ratatouille Adventure takes you on a 3D adventure through the kitchen of Guesteau's, the famous Paris restaurant, from the perspective of a mouse. The ride is interactive and located in the French pavilion. (Suitable for everyone: all ages and all heights.)

This flight simulator takes you on a world tour, soaring above all the wonders of the world. Think the Great Wall of China, the Eiffel Tower, and the African savannas. Good to know: the minimum height is 102 cm.
Launch yourself on a rocket mission to Mars. The Orange Mission lets you experience real G-forces thanks to a centrifuge that simulates a rocket launch. Prefer something a little less intense? Then choose the Green Mission, without G-forces but with the same exciting storyline. Good to know: the minimum height is 102 cm.
Perhaps our favorite ride at Epcot. This lightning-fast indoor coaster, with visuals and a soundtrack full of well-known hits, takes you around the moon. A fun detail is that they play a different song each time, so you'll definitely want to ride this ride more than once! Good to know: the minimum height is 107 cm (42 in).

EPCOT's grand evening show. With fireworks, lasers, fountains, and music on the water of the World Showcase Lagoon. A show with a message about connection.

I thought this was one of the most unique dining experiences in all of Disney World! It's a must-do if you visit Epcot. You start with a "space elevator" that whisks you up to the Space 220 station, high above the Earth, in just a few minutes. Once there, you dine in a futuristic setting with a view of the planet, while satellites and astronauts float by. And the menu? Surprisingly good!

A favorite among steak lovers, this table-service restaurant feels like a cozy wine cellar and is known for its perfectly prepared filet mignon, cheddar cheese soup, and truffle fries. Ideal for an evening of fine dining, especially if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the park.
Craving pizza? Then you'll want to go here. Via Napoli serves authentic Neapolitan pizzas from wood-fired ovens imported specifically from Italy. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and the portions are generous. Great for a group or if you're traveling with kids.
One of the best quick-service options in EPCOT. Sit right on the waterfront and enjoy tacos, nachos, and guacamole with a view of World Showcase Lagoon. Pair it with a frozen margarita and you'll be completely in the holiday spirit.
A hidden gem often overlooked. This Mediterranean restaurant is located on the waterfront and boasts a terrace with stunning views, especially during the fireworks. The menu features smaller dishes perfect for sharing, such as falafel, hummus fries, and lamb kefta.
For those craving something quick but deliciously French. From freshly baked baguettes and croissants to quiches and éclairs, everything here is equally good. Perfect for breakfast, lunch, or a sweet stop. Also recommended if you want to grab something to eat while waiting in line for an attraction.
Located in the new World Celebration area, it's perfect for a quick but varied meal. Think burgers, pizzas, bowls, and salads in a fresh, modern setting with plenty of seating. It's also convenient if you're traveling with a group and everyone wants something different.
TIP: There are also lots of delicious and fun individual snacks available at the various Disney parks in Orlando. Which ones should you try? You can read about this in this food guide for Walt Disney World >>

One of the most chic places to stay if you've got EPCOT on your list. Think beach club vibes with a nautical twist, water views, and the best pool in Disney World: Stormalong Bay. A bonus: breakfast at Cape May Café with Donald, Goofy, and Daisy Duck.
Disney's Beach Club Resort offers a less upscale atmosphere than the Yacht Club, but with the same prime location and access to the waterpark-style pool. The pastel-colored decor and relaxed atmosphere make it a family favorite. And you can walk straight into the park via the International Gateway.
It's like traveling back to a charming American coastal town with a bustling promenade full of restaurants, bars, and live music. Here you can sleep in style and have a front-row seat for socializing in the evenings without having to venture into the park.
For those who love a sleek, modern style with European flair. Luxurious villas, mosaics in the lobby, and a rooftop restaurant with views of the EPCOT fireworks. It's a bit further out, but you can get there in no time with the Disney Skyliner.
A cheerful resort with an island vibe and a wonderful pirate-themed pool. Its location on the Skyliner makes it a perfect mid-range option if you're not looking for a deluxe option but still want to be comfortable and close to EPCOT.
