More and more people want an honest story behind the products they buy. It's nice to know that new red blouse wasn't made by poor children in Bangladesh ;-) In honor of this week, we've listed sustainable stores you'll definitely want to visit (even after Dutch Sustainable Fashion Week). 12 Sustainable Shops in Amsterdam to Visit Quickly

HijackedThe online shop and pop-up shop Gekaapt now has a permanent location in the city where you can browse day in and day out for fun, sustainable home and fashion items for yourself or your birthday friend. P.S. They also have Vegan Lane; a collection of brands and products that fit the vegan lifestyle.

Sukha: My absolute favorite is Sukha on Haarlemmerstraat. They sell incredibly beautiful homeware, clothes made from exquisite fabrics, and lovely gifts. Think poetry books, cotton garlands, and jewelry. Almost everything here is handmade and eco-friendly.

The Goat Wool ShopNothing dull or corny in this charming Geitenwollenwinkel (Goat Wool Shop). Everything is vegan, eco-friendly, and made with ethically sourced products. And not to forget: it's all very beautiful. From clothing to throws and from fragrances to face cream.

zenzaIf you still need a lamp, Zenza is the place to be. They're known for their beautiful collection of lamps ;-) At Zenza, they combine old techniques with a modern twist in their design. We're in love with all their items!

Loom&LaceAt Loom&Lace, you'll find a wide variety of clothing styles. Whether you're looking for a business outfit or a party dress, you'll find what you're looking for. The store is filled with warm cardigans, elegant dresses, and comfy pants.
