It seems as if the delis – a phenomenon particularly popular in New York – are taking over our capital city. We’re not complaining because you can never have enough quality takeaways with the finest delicacies. For that reason alone, it is very welcome that Dito Deli Amsterdam recently opened its doors in de Pijp.

Atmosphere and Interior at Dito Deli

Dito Deli Amsterdam has a cosy atmosphere and charming looks. The three founders took their time with the brand design. The result is worth it: the light yellow and bright blue make you feel instantly happy. These colours have been incorporated down to the smallest details, making the place quaint and cosy but also tasteful and modern.

You could compare this place a little to the immensely popular Zero Zero, but with its unique character.

Menu and Dishes at Dito Deli

In front of Dito, two stylish blue benches are inviting you to enjoy your fresh lunch. Walking around with a huge sandwich would be a shame – you want to take your time for these sandwiches. They are generously filled here, so you don’t have to worry about feeling hungry at your desk. Especially popular are the focaccias with fennel salami and pecorino cream and the ones with tuna, red onion, and pepper. An excellent detail: the bread and all sauces are homemade.

You’ll also want to be here for the espresso and aperitivo, just as you would at a true Italian place. And don’t forget the natural wine, which the owners personally imported from their favourite country. They even had the labels made, which are as stylish as the rest of the establishment’s decor.

Dito Deli is Perfect for a Quick Lunch

Looking for a spot where you can pick up a delicious sandwich or grab a good bottle of wine for dinner? Then Dito Deli is the place to be.
