Destino in Rotterdam is the first restaurant opened by the owners who also opened Bertmans (which is literally next door, by the way), so I expected nothing less than a well-executed concept with very tasty food.

And that's exactly what it is: owner Nelleke loves to travel to Spain for inspiration for Destino and updates the menu monthly. Think not of a typical tapas menu at a typical Spanish restaurant, but of creative variations with surprising ingredients like fennel, avocado, and chicory. There's also good wine and a menu with a variety of gin and tonics.
