Dining at Destino Rotterdam for a true Spanish ambiance

Are you in love with Spain and do you also miss real Spanish food? Then you definitely need to try out Destino in Rotterdam. At Destino they want you to feel like you’re in Spain, so they want you to be able to walk in whenever you want for some tapas and drinks, with no reservations. A place where everyone can get together for some good food and proper drinks for a real Spanish ambiance!

Destino is actually the first restaurant that the owners of Bertmans opened (which by the way, is right next door), so I expected nothing less than a well-thought out concept with delicious food. And that’s exactly what it is: the owner Nelleke likes traveling to Spain to get some new inspiration for Destino in Rotterdam and creates a new menu every month.

Don’t expect some cliché tapas menu at a regular Spanish restaurant, but one with creative options using refreshing ingredients such as fennel, avocado and chicory. Aside from food, they have really good wines and a menu with different kinds of gin tonics.
